This is a beautifully formed El Hammam fluorite with exceptionally vivid internal zoning. The colour is much more intricate than simple yellow zoning around the outer edge, also featuring concentrated blue zones developing through the interior.

The crystal itself is complete, though it has developed as a partial cube rather than a fully expressed cubic form, with a small amount of matrix attached to the reverse. The growth is beautifully defined overall.

In normal light the colour is already strong, but when backlit it becomes absolutely sensational. The blue concentrations intensify dramatically, the yellow zoning lights up around them, and the internal structure becomes incredibly vivid.
