A reusable mounting putty designed specifically for mineral specimens.
Unlike general purpose tack, Mineral Tac stays pliable rather than hardening over time, allowing specimens to be mounted securely to acrylic or display bases while remaining easy to remove and reposition.
Its formulation is also designed to avoid the oily residue and staining that can occur with some conventional mounting putties, making it better suited to long term specimen display.

- 1 Stick: 15 cm approx

- 3 Pack: 18 sticks, 270 cm total approx
Shipping Information
We dispatch orders every weekday using Australia Post. Express Post is our standard shipping method within Australia, ensuring your specimens reach you as quickly and safely as possible.
International orders are also sent with Australia Post using a tracked service.

Is this the exact specimen I will receive?
Yes. Unless a listing is clearly marked as a multiple quantity product like Mineral Tac, the specimen shown in the photographs is the exact piece you will receive.
What happens if a specimen sells while I'm checking out?
Most pieces are unique and available in a quantity of one. A specimen is only secured once checkout has been completed successfully.
Do you combine shipping?
Yes. If you purchase multiple specimens, we'll combine them into one shipment wherever practical. Any excess shipping charged at checkout can be refunded once your order is packed.
Are repairs or restorations disclosed?
Yes. Any known repair, restoration, reattachment or treatment is stated in the listing.
Can I purchase a specimen as a gift?
