Ganesh Himal is one of Nepal’s classic quartz localities, particularly known for beautifully formed Tessin habit crystals with exceptional clarity, strong lustre and complex chlorite inclusions. This specimen brings all of those qualities together beautifully.
The water clear quartz is anything but simple, with curves, striations, subtle undulating bumps and beautifully textured surfaces creating interest from every angle. Across the back two faces, botryoidal masses of chlorite are embedded within and against the crystal, forming an intricate internal landscape.
The clarity is exceptional, allowing those chlorite inclusions to remain clearly visible throughout the body of the quartz, while the lustre is far stronger in person than the photographs suggest. These images were taken in direct sunlight, which tends to flatten both the lustre and transparency, so the true quality of the crystal is even more apparent in softer, indirect light.
The specimen is completed by a fully healed and crystallised base, giving the piece a finished quality from top to bottom. An absolutely sensational Ganesh Himal quartz, with phenomenal clarity, texture and internal detail.

If I already have an open box and place an order from the website, will my items ship together?
Yes. By default, your open box will be shipped with your website order on the next available business day. If you'd like to keep your box open all you need to do is send us a message Instagram @the_liminal_stone before dispatch occurs
Is this the exact specimen I will receive?
Yes. Unless a listing is clearly marked as a multiple quantity product like Mineral Tac, the specimen shown in the photographs is the exact piece you will receive.
What happens if a specimen sells while I'm checking out?
Most pieces are unique and available in a quantity of one. A specimen is only secured once checkout has been completed successfully.
Do you combine shipping?
Yes. If you purchase multiple specimens, we'll combine them into one shipment wherever practical. Any excess shipping charged at checkout can be refunded once your order is packed.
Are repairs or restorations disclosed?
Yes. Any known repair, restoration, reattachment or treatment is stated in the listing.
Can I purchase a specimen as a gift?
