Here is a beautifully substantial Lemurian style quartz from Diamantina, with exceptional internal clarity and a large natural contact seam running through one side of the crystal.
The quartz is clear for its size, with strong lustre across the cleaner faces and a softly tapered profile leading into a well formed termination. Fine horizontal striations run across the column faces, while subtle variations in growth give the crystal a more natural and complex surface than first appears.
One side is defined by a pronounced contact seam where another crystal or mineral body grew closely against the quartz during formation. Rather than detracting from the specimen, it creates a strong structural feature through the crystal and gives the piece considerably more character from that angle.
The proportions are especially appealing in hand. At 110mm tall and 344g, the crystal has enough width and weight to stand naturally on its own, while still retaining excellent clarity through much of the body. It is a very clean, highly presentable example of Brazilian quartz with a strong balance between form, transparency and natural growth detail.

Most pieces are unique and available in a quantity of one. A specimen is only secured once checkout has been completed successfully.
Do you combine shipping?
Yes. If you purchase multiple specimens, we'll combine them into one shipment wherever practical. Any excess shipping charged at checkout can be refunded once your order is packed.

Yes. Any known repair, restoration, reattachment or treatment is stated in the listing.
