This richly textured fluorite and quartz association comes from recent production in Chebka Sidi Said, Morocco, with warm iron staining distributed across both the fluorite and the surrounding crystal growth.
The fluorite occurs as a compact cluster of small but sharply defined cubes, many of them partially coated or dusted with iron rich material that ranges through peach, rust and softer shades of orange.
The quartz association adds much of the specimen’s texture. Fine drusy quartz coats and bridges across parts of the fluorite, creating a soft sparkling surface over the larger blocky forms beneath. Around the margins, smaller fluorite crystals emerge through the quartz and iron staining, giving the piece a particularly dense and detailed appearance despite its compact size.
