Arizona has a long history of fluorite and fluorspar mining, with dozens of recorded fluorite occurrences across Maricopa County alone. While the state is better known to collectors for copper minerals, wulfenite and turquoise, its fluorite localities have produced some wonderfully distinctive material, often in colours and habits that feel quite different from the classic fluorites of Europe and the Midwest.
This little Marion Mine specimen is a beautiful example, with rich honey gold fluorite contrasted by vivid green mineralisation across the surface. The crystal has excellent translucency and a strong geometric form, with the colour becoming especially luminous around the edges in natural light.

Our open box service allows you to purchase specimens over time and have them held safely with us until you're ready for a combined shipment.

When you're ready to receive your collection, place your next order without the code, or contact us to arrange dispatch.
