This is a beautifully composed little Sidi Said specimen, built around a large, square sunshine yellow fluorite cube with excellent definition and a lovely warm translucency.
The fluorite sits amongst finely crystallised quartz carrying goethite, with plenty of sparkle and texture packed around the central crystal. The quartz forms a detailed mineralised setting rather than simply acting as matrix, while the darker goethite adds depth through the recesses.
The whole piece feels exceptionally well put together for its size, with crisp cubic fluorite, bright quartz and rich iron mineralisation all strongly represented in a very compact specimen.
