This is a gorgeous little Mibladen thumbnail featuring a well formed wulfenite crystal in an unusual tetragonal pyramidal habit, sitting on a beautifully crystallised cerussite crystal.
The vibrant orange wulfenite is the obvious focal point, with a strong tapering form that is quite different from the more familiar tabular habit associated with Mibladen. Beneath it, the cerussite is lovely in its own right, with a bright, well developed crystal creating a detailed and sparkling base rather than simply acting as matrix.
There's an impressive amount of crystallisation packed into this piece. The combination of wulfenite and cerussite is classic for Mibladen, but the strong wulfenite habit and phenomenal abundance is special.
