This is an exceptionally vibrant ferruginous quartz from Tinejdad, with one of the truest red colourations I’ve seen in quartz from any locality. The saturation is intense, even rivalling some of the finer Orange River material we see from southern Africa.
The composition is sculptural and beautifully balanced, with crisp, well formed quartz points rising through the front. In natural daylight the colour becomes incredibly lively, with a bright luster on the patina and a sparkling druzy section across the back adding another layer of texture.
There is some rougher growth through the rear, but the front is sensationally well defined, with excellent form and a very strong display angle. At only 39mm, it has enormous presence for its size and sits beautifully on a display base.

What happens if a specimen sells while I'm checking out?
Most pieces are unique and available in a quantity of one. A specimen is only secured once checkout has been completed successfully.
Do you combine shipping?
Yes. If you purchase multiple specimens, we'll combine them into one shipment wherever practical. Any excess shipping charged at checkout can be refunded once your order is packed.
Are repairs or restorations disclosed?
Yes. Any known repair, restoration, reattachment or treatment is stated in the listing.
Can I purchase a specimen as a gift?
