This is one of the larger Milpo fluorites from the parcel we have to offer, with a substantial modified octahedral form and an exceptionally saturated green colour.

In natural daylight the fluorite glows with a rich turquoise green, with areas of fine etched texture and several clearer windows that reveal the interior of the crystal. One section near the base has been contacted and exposes the colour zoning particularly well. Looking directly through this area reveals a brighter apple green interior surrounded by deeper turquoise outer layers, with clear separation between the zoning.

There’s a lot of metallic association here too, with dark Geocronite-Jordanite gathered heavily around the base and along one side of the fluorite, accompanied by fine pyrite and small sharply defined cubes. The metallic matrix extends around much of the lower specimen and gives it a particularly mineral rich appearance.

It's a chunky piece at over 93g, and the the contacted area is reflected in the price, making this one particularly good value for the size, colour and association.
