Locality: Milpo mine, Atacocha mining district, Cerro de Pasco, Pasco province, Pasco, Peru
Dimensions: 25mm x 22mm x 15mm

This small yet mighty specimen is beautifully composed, featuring two prominent fluorite crystals that sit nestled within a bed of secondary crystals, including metallic inclusions along the matrix. The crystals feature a modified octahedral form, with spectacular viewing windows that allow one to peer within.
The specific shade of green is rather striking, leaning towards turquoise in comparison to some of the more electric greens seen at Milpo. The transparency is excellent through the front faces, revealing cloudy internal growth, small inclusions and flashes of colour. The surrounding paler fluorite adds further depth without competing with the two central crystals.
