The locality became famous for sharp blue black bipyramidal anatase crystals, often associated with quartz, and is now protected with collecting strictly forbidden. Mindat records the largest known anatase crystals found on quartz there at around 8 to 9mm, which makes the size of the crystals on this specimen especially noteworthy.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSeveral crystals here approach one centimetre, with strong form and that characteristic dark metallic colour.
