This piece has a gorgeous translucency that gives the quartz a gel like quality, particularly where the red and orange colour is strongest. In natural daylight the colour seems to glow from within, and the darker base makes the upper section feel even more fiery.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe composition is lovely too. The quartz spreads outward on either side in a way that almost gives it a winged form, while the central growth keeps the specimen feeling balanced rather than flat.
